Register & plan

How do I register?

You can register by purchasing your ticket via this link which will take you to our Eventbrite registration website and system. If you have problems with registration please contact margrethe@wifinowevents.com

When will I receive a confirmation of my booking?

Once you have registered and paid, Evenbrite will send you a confirmation email almost immediately. You can use this message as your receipt of payment. Then you just have to turn up on the day of the event. Your name will be on the list of delegates who are attending the event. You will also receive an email reminder from Eventbrite a couple of days before event start.

I have not received any confirmation. When will I get this?

Eventbrite will send you an email confirmation almost immediately. If you have not received your confirmation, please check your spam folder.
Otherwise please contact margrethe@wifinowevents.com to have this resent to you.

When can I pick up my conference badge?

All delegates can collect their badges at the venue on the morning of the first day of the conference. The Wi-Fi NOW team will be available throughout the conference to distribute badges and to answer questions.

What are the costs?

Visit the registration site to see the cost of the different ticket types. When registering your ticket Eventbrite will charge you an administration fee. We do not make a margin on this cost and we endeavour to keep it as low as possible. The charges are standard for all tickets sold by Eventbrite. What is the payment surcharge for American Express and MasterCard/Visa?

Credit card and wire transactions include a surcharge. The fee will depend on the payment method you choose. If you choose to pay your ticket(s) by direct invoice and wire transfer an administration fee of $39/€35/£30 will be added pr. invoice (one fee pr. invoice).

Why have I been charged VAT?

The VAT Directive 2006/112/EC determines how VAT is applied in the EU and includes specific rules for the place of supply of services. The General Rule is that services are supplied where the customer is established but there are exceptions to the General Rule for a number of services including admission to an event. This is detailed in Article 53 of the Directive.

VAT on tickets for events in The Netherlands
Tickets for conferences held in The Netherlands are liable for VAT as they are classified under VAT legislation as ‘services supplied where performed’ and therefore VAT of the country hosting the conference must be charged. All delegates (except entrepreneurs who are established in the Netherlands) must pay the VAT charged on their tickets initially but can potentially reclaim this back from the VAT office in The Netherlands.

How do ‘Early Bird’ discounts work?

All of our rates and Early Bird discounts are outlined on the registration page. The Early Bird discount is applied if you buy your ticket before September 15, 2017. We also promote our events through media partners and sponsors.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes. Please email  margrethe@wifinowevents.com with your group size to find out what level of discount is available to you.

What is included in the registration fee?

Depending on your ticket type the fee includes access to the conference and/or expo for 1-3 days. Lunch and refreshment breaks are included in all tickets.

Conference pass holders will get access to the conference presentation documents and videos 1-2 weeks after the event. You will receive an email notification with instructions on how to access documents and videos at this time.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Cancelling your ticket

There is a no refund policy on all tickets. You can however, choose to transfer your ticket or we can issue a credit towards our next event.

Transfer your ticket

A ticket can be transferred to another person if the ticket holder cannot attend. To transfer a ticket, please email margrethe@wifinowevents.com with the full name, email address, title, and company name of the new attendee as well as the full name of whom they will be replacing.

How do I get to the venue?

Is accommodation included in the price?

The registration fee does not include accommodation costs.

Can I turn up and just pay at the door?

Yes. You will need to present a valid credit card for our staff. Payment must be made before you enter the event.

Do you offer discounts on hotel rates?

Is the event suitable for individuals with disabilities or special needs?

We strive to make our events accessible to everyone. Please contact katrine@wifinowevents.com to inform us of any special requirements and we will take care of your needs as best as we can. Our event venues are usually designed and equipped for all visitors.

Expo & conference

Can I have a copy of the attendee list?

Only sponsors and exhibitors get access to the registration list. The list is available from 2 weeks before event start. Please contact claus@wifinowevents.com if you wish to become a sponsor or exhibitor.

Are there any social events taking place at the conference?

Yes. See our agenda for more info on social events.

I am interested in partnering with Wi-Fi NOW. Who should I contact?

What sponsorship opportunities are available?

When can I set up my expo stand?

You can set up your expo stand starting from Monday October 30, 2017 in the evening.

For speakers

What format should my presentation be in?

Your presentation must be sent by email to margrethe@wifinowevents.com as a PowerPoint or (alternatively) PDF file in 16:9 format at least 1 week before conference start. Please contact the Wi-Fi NOW team if you wish to use a presentation format other than PowerPoint or PDF.

When do you need my presentation?

Please send your presentation to margrethe@wifinowevents.com at least one week before conference start.

Will my presentation be video recorded?

Your presentation will be professionally video recorded and distributed to all attendees as part of the event documentation. If you do not wish for us to distribute your conference video and/or presentation file please contact us in advance. Full distribution and editing rights for your conference video can be purchased after the conference. We also offer media distribution & promotion of your video. Can I bring a personal assistant to the event?

Do I need to send you a photo of myself?

Yes. We require all speakers to provide a high quality head shot for display on our website and promotional literature.

What is the preferred length of my bio?

Your bio should be no more than 150-200 words. We include your bio in the conference documentation and on our website.

Will members of the press attend my presentation?

Yes. Our events are always open to the press and we typically generate a lot of interest from both popular and tech media. If you have concerns or questions about this please contact margrethe@wifinowevents.com.

Are speakers given full access to the conference?

Yes. As a valued speaker you will be able to attend the entire conference and expo at no cost.

For media

How do I get a press pass?

Legitimate members of the press and selected industry analysts are welcome to attend Wi-Fi NOW free of charge if they satisfy the terms of our press access policy. Applicants who do not to meet the terms and conditions of press attendance need to pay the relevant delegate rate to attend.
